Financial planning

Make informed decisions about your wealth and align your finances with your life goals.

What is financial planning?

Lifestyle financial planning revolves around you and your goals, rather than your money. Of course, your finances have a role to play, but it’s not the main area we focus on.

Our financial planning service goes far beyond the initial transaction. We’re here for the long term, guiding you through a lifetime of change. With our team’s support, you’ll always feel reassured that no matter what comes your way, we’ll help you stay on track with your plans.

Your journey

Step 1

Getting to know you

The first step in your financial planning journey is a no-obligation meeting designed entirely around you. During this session, we’ll understand your personal and financial circumstances, so we can explore how to support your goals. You’ll gain clarity on our approach, discover how we work, and assess whether we’re the right fit to guide you and your family’s financial future.

You can then go away and take your time to decide whether we are the right fit for you, and our team is here to answer any questions along the way.

Step 2

Gathering information

Before we create your financial plan, we need to gain a clear picture of your current financial position. By reviewing your existing plans, assets, liabilities, income, and expenses, we uncover where you stand today and how well-positioned you are to achieve your goals.

This step ensures we identify opportunities, address challenges, and create a personalised plan to bring your aspirations to life.

Step 3

Building your plan

At this stage, we go away and conduct further analysis and research. We’ll thoroughly review your finances and understand what changes are needed to reach your goals. We create a personalised report that outlines our recommendations and includes a cashflow forecast, so you can visualise your progress toward your short- and long-term goals.

We’ll then present you with our report and recommendations and answer questions. It can be a lot to take in, so we encourage you to take the report away, review it at your own pace, and decide when you’re ready to move forward.

Step 4

Implementing your plan

Once you’re happy with our recommendations and ready to proceed, your financial planner and the wider JWA team will be responsible for putting any changes into action. This might include transferring funds, opening new accounts, or working collaboratively with other professionals.

Our goal is to make the process seamless and stress-free, so you can feel confident that every step is moving you closer to achieving your financial goals.

Step 5

Ongoing advice

Staying on track means revisiting and refining your plan every year. By working with us on an ongoing basis, you get the most out of our service. Each year, we’ll meet to review your progress, discuss any changes in your circumstances, and assess the wider investment landscape to ensure your plan continues to support your goals effectively.

Our team is always available year-round to address any questions or concerns, providing you with peace of mind every step of the way.
