Where are meetings held?

We meet our clients either online or in person at our Cardiff office. In some circumstances, we can meet you at your home or office.

Do you have parking?

Yes, we have ample visitor parking. When we agree to meet, we will provide you with directions.

Do I have to pay for an initial meeting?

No, an initial meeting is entirely free of charge and without obligation.

What do I need to bring to an initial meeting?

Please bring your driving licence or passport and recent correspondence of your existing pensions, investments and insurances if you wish to discuss these.

How long should I allow for an initial meeting?

We suggest 90 minutes.

Do I have to sign up to your services at an initial meeting?

No, we would not ask you to do this, and we will never pressure you.

How can I book an initial meeting?

If I sign up for your ongoing service how often will we meet?

We will usually meet annually to review all aspects of your financial circumstances. You can always get in touch at other times if there is something you wish to discuss.

Are you independent?

Yes, we are fully independent.

Are you regulated?

Yes, we are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and you can look us up on the FCA Register here.

Can you advise on final salary/defined benefit transfers?

Yes, our permissions allow us to advise on these types of pensions; however, we work with a small number of expert third-party associates who specialise in this area. After an initial conversation, we would refer you to an associate. If a transfer results, we will be pleased to provide an ongoing advice service to ensure your plans remain suitable and on track to meet your financial objectives.

What happens if my financial planner is away on holiday?

Our support team will always welcome your telephone call and will be able to help you. If the matter is urgent and requires the involvement of an adviser, our support team will seek the assistance of another of our fully qualified advisers.

What do you charge for a financial plan?

We have a minimum fee of £2,750 for holistic financial advice that entails a full financial review, including the provision of our cashflow forecasting service to determine if your financial planning is on track and the actions we recommend you take to maintain, protect or improve your financial position and prospects.

Do you charge on a percentage basis or are your fees fixed?

We offer both fixed fee and percentage charging arrangements depending on your financial circumstances and your needs. We will always discuss the amount of our charges before we commence any work for you.

Do you get commission?

We do not receive commission when we advise on pension and investment products. Our remuneration for investment advice is based solely on the adviser charges we always fully disclose.

We do receive commission when you take up an insurance or mortgage product we have advised, and we do disclose this to you. Additionally, broker fees apply to our mortgage advice. We do not apply additional charges to insurance products.

Is there a minimum wealth level to become your client?

If you wish to receive ongoing advice, we have four service levels. The basic service level includes the essential features and facilities to ensure your investments are regularly reviewed to keep your plans on track. Typically, you will have total investible assets (sum of defined contribution pensions and other investments) of at least £175,000.

Do you charge VAT?

We are not VAT registered and do not charge VAT.
